Ken Clason

Ken Clason is a 39 year old attorney. He uses photography to explore emotional connections with loss and memory, and to ask questions about the nature of time and mortality.

The project I am submitting is called “Pack All Your Things.”  It grew as a response to the sudden and unexpected death of my father.

Do the places and people from our past still exist, if they only exist in our memories?  When people die, is memory enough?  If the places from our childhood change over time, does that change create an entirely new location, or does the childhood location still exist, buried within time?
