Paul Daly contacted us to share his set “Expired England”.
I set out to document the people and landscapes which make up England to me. Our way of life and our surroundings have not changed for decades, evidently seen in estates, seaside resorts, city centres, pubs and social clubs. Took predominantly on expired film, I wanted to represent England as a memory unclassified by a time period. The loneliness and isolation of the subjects also give me more reason to take their picture. Inevitably, as a human it is something we all must come to realise.
